Another new tablet from Oppo! Specifications, Launch Details!


Oppo Pad 2 has been spotted on a leading benchmarking website. It seems that Oppo is gearing up to launch its next tablet soon. The Chinese smartphone maker launched its first tablet Oppo Pad last year. After this, Oppo launched the Pad Air.

But now it is reported that the company is working on this tablet as a successor to the Oppo Pad. Furthermore, the important specifications of this tablet have now been identified online. Although Oppo hasn't released any details about it yet, the upcoming Oppo Pad 2 is expected to be launched soon in a few months.

According to a Go Android report, the Oppo Pad 2 has been listed on popular benchmarking website Geekbench. The Geekbench 5 and Geekbench 6 benchmark listings of this device with model number OPD2201 suggest that the upcoming tablet will be powered by Qualcomm's octa-core chipset clocked at up to 2.84GHz and 7.34 GB of RAM. This suggests that this tablet might be equipped with Snapdragon 888 SoC. Additionally, the Oppo Pad 2 scored 1,160 points in the single-core test and 3,186 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6.

However, in Geekbench 5, it scored 899 in the single-core and 3079 in the multi-core test. The listing reveals that the Oppo Pad 2 is likely to run Android 13-based Color OS 13 on top. The device packs 8GB of RAM and supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

Furthermore, the report suggests that this upcoming Oppo Pad 2 will be launched in India soon. It is expected to be launched as a successor to Oppo Pad which was launched last year. The tablet has an 11-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC processor, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Launched last year, the Oppo Pad packs an 8,360mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Looking at the camera optics details, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
