In the past, every smartphone had a removable battery, and these came with a 3.5mm headphone setup. While this 3.5mm headphone setup is still seen in most budget phones, smartphones with removable batteries are no longer hitting the market.

Nokia is also planning to launch smartphones with removable battery around this time. The new Nokia phone with entry-level features and low price is announced to be launched Nokia C02.

Nokia Mobile has launched its latest entry-level smartphone, the affordable Nokia C02, without any fanfare. It offers a 5.45-inch LCD screen with FWVGA+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. This handset has big thick bezels on the display which takes us back to the old days. It also has the design of previous phones. It has a polycarbonate frame and a back with nano-texture. The phone also has an IP52 waterproofing feature.

Coming to the camera features, there is a 2 MP front facing camera and a 5 MP rear camera with an LED flash. The smartphone also has a 3,000mAh battery. The company claims that the battery is enough to power the phone for a full day. And as mentioned above, this battery is removable, so you can always swap in another new battery if it doesn't work.

Also looking at the other features of this phone, the Nokia C02 is powered by an unnamed quad-core SoC processor clocked at 1.4GHz. This processor is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Coming to the software of this phone, first, the handset runs on Android 12 (Go Edition). Also, the brand is also offering security updates for up to two years.

The smartphone comes with dual SIM slots and a microSD card slot. The handset charges with the help of a micro USB connector. Currently, Nokia C02 pricing and availability details are unknown. This brand should be announced soon. The phone is expected to be priced under $80.
