Redmi will launch 300W fast charging technology! Full charge in 5 minutes!

Redmi has officially confirmed its new fast charging technology. Through this technology, the 300W Immortal Second Charger claims to fully charge a smartphone in just five minutes. The Chinese phone maker is yet to confirm the technical aspects of the charging technology.

Fast charging is one of the most important features in smartphones these days as it allows users to charge their devices much faster than usual. Not all phones or devices in the market, brands use the same type of fast charging and all chargers meet different standards.

According to Redmi's recent announcement in a Weibo post, their new charging technology is named "300W Immortal Second Charger", which seems to be an alternative charging technology. More information about this charging technology will be revealed by the company soon.

The company claims that this newly certified charging technology can charge the 4,100mAh battery to 10 percent in 43 seconds, 50 percent in two minutes and 13 seconds, and 100 percent in five minutes. The company claims that this is not an entirely new technology, but rather a change to the charging technology found in the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus variant.

The Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition, available only in China, is the company's fastest charging smartphone to date. It supports 210W charging and is said to fully charge the phone in around 10 minutes.

.Among the smartphone market's competitors, the Realme GT Neo 5 was announced earlier this year as the world's first high-wattage fast charger technology with 240W charging. It claims to be the fastest charging speed a USB-C port can support. A 4,600mAh battery can fully charge the supported phone in less than 10 minutes. The device comes with a 20V/12A adapter.

However, if the 300W charger announced by Redmi is launched, then the Redmi brand will have the fastest charger in the world. Realme's GT Neo 5 has also been launched with a 5,000mAh battery and 150W fast charging variant. It comes with a 20V/8A adapter in the box. Recently Xiaomi launched the much awaited Redmi Note 12 smartphone series in India. The much hyped series includes Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ variant models
