New Moto G73 5G Smartphone India Launch Date, Specifications

Motorola's Moto G73 5G smartphone was launched globally alongside the Moto G53 5G last month in February. And now the company has officially announced that the phone will be launched in India as well. The handset is expected to launch in India with the new MediaTek Dimension 930 SoC processor.

Also, the Moto G72 is a 4G device so the Moto G73 5G is coming as an upgrade to the Moto G63 5G to really make a comparison. Online retailer Flipkart has announced the details of this new Motorola phone on their website with a landing page detailing the upcoming launch and the handset.

This landing page on Flipkart provides important information about the smartphone launch in India. It is similar to the previously announced global variant. According to information provided on Motorola's landing page, its Moto G73 5G phone is powered by MediaTek's Dimension 930 SoC processor in India.

This processor was launched in May 2022 and offers mmWave capability (not available in India) similar to the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 SoC. It is manufactured using a 6nm process and is said to offer a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz.

Flipkart's landing page provides a lot of details about the phone's cameras. What we do know is that the phone will come with two rear-facing cameras, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. There is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies. Motorola claims that the primary camera offers better performance with its larger 2μm pixel size.

According to the information on this landing page, the phone appears to have a water repellent design. More in line with the recent Moto G72 than the earlier Moto G62 5G. The phone has a 6.5-inch full HD+ LCD panel. It has a maximum screen refresh rate of 120Hz. Along with that large display is a stereo speaker setup, which is also rumored to have Dolby Atmos support.

The Moto G73 5G phone is said to run Motorola's MyUX software skin with Android 13 as the base. This Motorola smartphone also claims to support 13 5G bands. The phone offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a 3.5mm headphone port in terms of connectivity options. It packs a 5,000mAh battery and comes with support for 30W wired charging
