Two new smartphones from Redmi! Launched on March 30


Redmi recently launched the Note 12 series of smartphones globally. There are four models in this series. Namely, Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 12 Pro+ 5G and the newly launched Redmi Note 12 4G. Apart from this 4G phone, all the Note 12 models were launched in India earlier this year.

But now the company has confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 4G will be launched in the Indian market on March 30. Now, according to the latest reports, Redmi India has confirmed that the Redmi 12C along with this phone will also be launched in India on the same day.

On the official company site landing page, Xiaomi revealed that the phone will be powered by the same MediaTek Helio G85 chipset that was previously launched in China and Indonesia. The company has confirmed that it will be priced under the budget offer of Rs 10,000.

It was launched in China in Shadow Black, Sea Blue, Mint Green and Lavender color options. The base 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage model of the Redmi 12C is priced at CNY 699 (roughly Rs. 8,400). The 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model is priced at CNY 799 (roughly Rs9,600), while the high-end 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model has been launched at CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 10,800).

The Indian variant of the Redmi 12C smartphone sports a 6.71-inch LCD HD+(1,650x720) display like its other variants with a 20.6:9 aspect ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio and a peak brightness level of 500 nits.

Coming to the camera and optics details, the Redmi 12C phone that will be launched in India will also feature a 50-megapixel AI dual rear camera and is likely to come with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera housed in a waterdrop notch centered at the top of the display.

Redmi has confirmed that the phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery and have up to 11GB of extended RAM, including 5GB of virtual RAM. Earlier variants of the Redmi 12C come with 10W charging support, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-USB port.
