Poco has officially launched the Poco C55 in India. Despite the premium-looking leatherette back, the Android smartphone is comfortably priced. The Poco C55 packs a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 6GB of RAM and a large 6.71-inch screen. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart later this month. The Poco C55 Android smartphone will come as a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Redmi 12C phone. Incidentally, the Redmi 12C is also expected to be launched in India this month. The redmi phone is already available in China and Xiaomi plans to launch the smartphone in many markets outside of China.

The Poco C55 smartphone sports a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with 1650 x 720 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The Poco C55 has a 720p display and a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone has a dual camera setup at the back with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm SoC and Mali G52 MP2 GPU. The high-end variant of this smartphone has 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The base model comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The onboard storage can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. The budget Android smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Connectivity options on the Poco C55 include a 3.5mm audio jack, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS + GLONASS.

Poco C55 smartphone comes in three colors Forest Green, Cool Blue and Power Black. Poco C55 comes in two RAM and storage variants 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Their prices are Rs.9,499 and Rs.10,999 respectively. These phones will be available for sale on Flipkart from February 28.
