New tablet from OnePlus, launch date, specifications details

Leaks suggest that the OnePlus Pad will launch in India soon. The OnePlus company is hosting the Cloud 11 launch event on February 7, 2023 in New Delhi. Chinese tech giant OnePlus is going to launch several products during this launch event. Some of the devices that the company has already confirmed are – OnePlus Buds Pro 2, OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus Keyboard, OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro and OnePlus 11R 5G. But apart from these, OnePlus may announce several other products. One of those products is expected to be in this list, the OnePlus Pad.

OnePlus Cloud 11 event

Chances are high that the OnePlus Pad will be the rebranded OPPO Pad that has already been launched in India. The OPPO Pad is an affordable tablet, and it runs on ColorOS. However, the OnePlus Pad runs on OxygenOS. As per the information shared by popular tipster @OnLeaks (on Twitter), the first look of the upcoming OnePlus tablet has been shared. This is the first tablet from OnePlus in India. So with OnePlus Cloud 11 launch event it is entering the market with several new products including tablets and keyboards.

The company has already launched the OnePlus 11 5G smartphone in China. So, you can check its specifications as it is going to be the same in the Indian market as well. However, price is key for OnePlus to ensure the success of these phones and tablets. OnePlus 11R also has an interesting and striking design and hopefully, it will bring the alert slider that came with OnePlus 11.

Several rumors have surfaced online pointing to the launch of the OnePlus Pad. Also let us now know about the estimated specifications. It is tipped to run Android 12L out of the box. It is expected to sport a 12.4-inch full-HD+ OLED display and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM.

It seems that OnePlus has designed to bring a dual rear camera unit in its first tablet. The camera setup includes a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. And for selfies, there's an 8-megapixel shooter on the front. Also, this tablet can also offer 128GB of onboard storage. The exclusive OnePlus Pad comes with a 10,090mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. However, OnePlus is yet to officially announce the launch details of the tablet. So, for now, these details and leaks should only be taken as speculations.

OnePlus, the consumer electronics brand, recently announced that it will provide four years of Android updates to select devices starting 2023. Additionally, these select devices will receive five years of security updates. Due to this users can keep their devices in a comfortable manner for a long time.
